Terms of Service

Last updated: August 15, 2025

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and Shopify apps provided by Storebeep (the "Services"). Storebeep is built to make restocking notifications efficient and effortless, operating in good faith alongside Shopify’s guidelines and in support of our merchants.

1. How Storebeep Works

Storebeep allows shoppers to subscribe to receive alerts when out‑of‑stock products are restocked. Each subscriber can maintain multiple subscriptions across products and stores. Merchants manage subscriptions at the product level and can export records or connect webhooks to receive updates.

2. Technology and Platform

We build on Shopify’s platform and use modern tooling including HeyMantle, Shopify Remix and Polaris, Railway (database and function hosting), and Cloudflare (DNS and infrastructure). Your use of Shopify is governed by Shopify’s terms and policies.

3. Data and Privacy

We explicitly record subscriber‑provided details such as email, phone number (optional), and consent for newsletter/marketing where requested. Subscription state is maintained per product and per store. Merchants may export those records or receive them via webhooks. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information.

4. Analytics

We monitor and analyze merchant/admin usage patterns using Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and HeyMantle’s pixel to improve the Services. These analytics do not target or track storefront shoppers and do not affect end‑customer experiences.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services. You must not reverse engineer the Services (except where permitted by law), interfere with or disrupt operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the Services to violate any law or third‑party rights, including Shopify policies.

6. Intellectual Property

Storebeep and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, features, and content. You receive a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive license to access and use the Services as provided, subject to these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We side with our merchants and take reasonable precautions to keep data safe; however, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation. In particular, mishandling or misuse by merchants (or systems they control) is outside our responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storebeep and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. We provide the Service as‑is and are not bound by any service level agreement. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amounts paid by you for the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Storebeep from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by Shopify policy, or if we discontinue the Services. Upon termination, rights granted under these Terms end.

11. Changes

We may modify the Services or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide notice within the Services. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence unless otherwise required by law. Venue for disputes will be in competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.
